No human should be allowed to have that much fun in a 2000# battering ram. We finished 38 out of 97 cars and 10th in our class of 29. Not bad for beginners. The brakes went out of the car the last 30 minutes of the race of which I was driving at the time. After 19 years of building a successful residential design partnership, we've decided to go our separate ways. Mike Haynes was my partner and a very loyal one at that. Mike taught me a world of knowledge about designing homes and how they are put together. The downturn in the economy really put a strain on our business and we felt that we needed to be proactive. We decided to sell our office and go our separate ways.<br /><br />I fully intend on carrying on with a very strong customer service attitude. Also, I want to provide the latest trends in designing custom homes including all available green technology. I studied alternative energy design including solar, wind, and water power technology at Appalachain State University in Boone NC in the 80's. The technology has become more affordable since then and has become a viable option for saving on enery bills.<br /><br />I am very excited about the new company and acheiving the new goals I have set for myself and the company.
